For more than three decades, the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS) has provided a structure and framework for its member schools and the families who seek to learn more about independent school education. The association's member schools - day and boarding, rural, urban, and suburban - collectively enroll thousands of new students each year. The missions of these schools are as richly diverse as the population of the Atlanta metropolitan area. This site will introduce you to the guidelines for fairness and equity in the admission process - The Principles of Good Practice - as well as provide contact information for all 72 member schools.
